The All-About-Me day is designed to allow the class to better know their classmates. This is an opportunity for the student to tell the rest of the class about themselves, their family, and their interests. They are encouraged to bring pictures, books, favorite toys and special objects from home to share. If they play a musical instrument, sing or dance, they are more than welcome to give a short demonstration. The student’s presentation should last about 10 minutes. If possible, I would like the children to practice their presentation at home so that it is more polished. It is really helpful if you assist your child with this. They may want help to put pictures on a poster, practice answering questions or gather important objects. After the presentation, the class will have a chance to ask questions and then make appreciation cards for the student that presented.

The assigned dates were determined by random drawing.  All About Me Days are generally scheduled for Friday mornings at ______.  If you have a conflict with your child’s scheduled date, let me know as soon as possible, so that I can reschedule. Family members are welcome to come to the All About Me Day.  However, please double check the time with me if you are planning to attend.
