We have had a great week in the Forest Room!  Here are a few highlights:

Counting by 2’s With Twins:

One of our focuses in math has been counting by 2’s. We brainstormed a terrific list of things that come in pairs and after a series of votes, narrowed it down to the one that we would use for our poster. The winning pair was twins. Each student made a small picture of twins and then we arranged them on a chart to show the 2’s counting pattern. After making observations about the chart, we looked at the numbers on the 100’s chart and made more observations.
